My Story
Carol Byrnes, MA, English Language and Literature, University of Michigan is a 32-year English teacher, specializing in writing the College Application Essay, Supplementals, and UC Personal Insight Questions responses. An AVID teacher for 30 years, she’s assisted over 1,200 students in making their college dreams come true. She assists students with the prewriting, composing, editing, and submission process.
We Offer Group Rates and Packages
The 90-minute fee is $250, and for individuals who would like to package
the Common Application Essay and Supplementals, the fee is $1,250 for one student.
Group Rates
We work with groups: Bring 3 to 4 of your friends to share costs. Common Application Essay 5 Working Sessions: $1,000/per student for two students (savings of $250) $875/per student for three students (savings of $375) $750/per student for four students (savings of $500)
UC Personal
Insight Questions
We specialize in University of California Personal Insight Questions. Personal insight questions are just that — personal. The important thing is expressing who you are, what matters to you and what you want to share with UC.
Common Application Essay & Supplementals
The Common Application will require an essay, many colleges also include school-specific essays, known as writing supplements. Supplemental essays allow admissions officers to get to know students and are excellent indicators of demonstrated interest.
Scholarship
Essays
With essay scholarships, especially, you should begin early and allow yourself plenty of time to develop an effective strategy and write a stellar entry. Follow the instructions carefully and go through the entire writing process, from brainstorming to outlining to editing.
